Hi there, welcome to my website. I’m Chu-Hung, or just James if you have trouble pronouncing my legal name. I am currently studying in UCD, aka an Aggie. I am extremely passionate about deep learning, especially the fields of natural language processing, computer vision, and automonous driving.

Why are you blogging in 2019 ?

As someone who is addicted to YouTube, I found visual representation is much more useful compared with traditional digital text representaion. Not to mention, most programmers hate to write or document. Thus, I was very reluctant to blog initially.

But the more I learn and code, the more I forgot. Human’s brain has pretty limited capacity. Unfortunately, I found mine to be way limited than others (Sigh). Unlike computers that can easily expand the storage by swapping in a branh new hard drive, human’s memory cannot be expanded as far as I am awared. Well, it will really cool if some black technology enables human’s memory to be backuped and expanded as our disk storage so that I will probably suffer less from forgetting what I’ve learned.

So, a way to keep track of what I have learned is desperately needed. Yet, it will even be better if it could serve the purpose of showcasing the projects I worked on. These are the main motivations why I decide to create this static website.

What can you find ?

I will be blogging mostly about of stuff I believe is useful and can easily be forgotten. It can be a short snippet of code demonstrating how to use an API, or some conceptual content such as algorithms, design patterns etc.
