Long Story

I was really passionate about Deep learning in the CV, NLP, and autonomous vehicle field, and my most of my work have pushed me toward these fields. However, after the great internship at TomTom in Summer 2019, I’ve seen the importance of good software engineering practices in industry. In constrast, such well software engineering principles are really lacking for modern machine learning applications.

Recall yourself how often you have trouble understanding some research paper github repository, how many times you have reinvented the wheels of random search for tunning hyperparameters, and how much time wasted for debugging when your model performance doesn’t match your expectation. Yet, these are all common problems that still persist today which really lower the quality of ML research work and increase unnecessary burden and effort on intelligent developers. I would like to part of one that solves these issues and free people from doing these tedious work.
